No advanced technical skills are required. The course is jargon-free and translator-friendly. Whether you’re just starting to explore AI or you’ve already used some tools, you’ll feel comfortable and supported.

How practical is the course? Will I actually use what I learn in real projects?
Very practical. Each session includes real-world examples, exercises, and workflows you can apply directly to your client projects. For instance, you’ll work with sample AI translations, review multimedia tools, and even optimize your LinkedIn profile during the course. This is not theory for theory’s sake, it’s training you’ll use immediately.
Does the course focus only on machine translation and post-editing, or does it cover other opportunities (multimedia, gaming, interpreting)?
It goes far beyond post-editing. While MTPE is covered, the course also explores high-growth opportunities in multimedia localization, interpreting, and life sciences, where AI is reshaping workflows but human expertise remains essential. This broadens your options and helps you expand your services.
Will I learn how to talk to clients about AI and position myself as an expert, not just a post-editor?
Yes. We dedicate time to client communication and positioning. You’ll learn how to explain AI’s role in plain terms, highlight your unique value, and push back confidently if clients try to use AI as an excuse to lower rates. By the end, you’ll know how to present yourself as a professional who understands AI, but whose expertise goes beyond it.
Is it useful if I’ve already done post-editing, or will it be too basic for me?
It’s useful at all levels. If you’ve done post-editing, you’ll benefit from learning advanced workflows, quality estimation methods and ways to integrate AI with CAT tools. You’ll also explore new areas such as life sciences, multimedia, and interpreting, along with business strategies that go far beyond basic MTPE.
How much time will I need to commit each week?
Plan for around 2-3 hours per week. This includes a live or recorded session plus optional exercises you can complete at your own pace. We’ve designed the course to be manageable for busy freelancers while still delivering meaningful, career-changing skills.
What if I miss a session, will there be recordings?
Yes. All sessions will be recorded, and you’ll have access to the materials and recordings so you can catch up anytime. You won’t miss out if life or client work gets in the way.
Will I get a certificate at the end, and can I use it on LinkedIn or my CV?
Yes. You’ll receive a certificate of completion that you can display on your LinkedIn profile, CV, and website. This demonstrates to clients and colleagues that you’ve invested in future-proofing your skills and are AI-aware.
